If a farm account has existing analyses, using this function saves the need to re-enter all the data about a farm - it is the most appropriate way of producing a new Year End for reporting purposes.
There are two ways that the copy function can be accessed.
Method 1:
The simplest, is underneath each analysis, in the Analysis dashboard - as shown in the red boxes below:
Once Copy is clicked, a pop-up wizard will open, asking if you wish to create a Year End, Predictive or Scenario analysis. Select which type you wish to copy the existing analysis to, which will open this screen:
If the analysis contain crop blocks you can use the opened drop down list (highlighted in gold) to chose keep the crops the same (perhaps for a scenario analysis), or whether to move the crop rotation on one year (for a subsequent Year End) - which will move the crops from the reporting year in the existing analysis, into Year One in the new, copied analysis.
In addition, You can choose which management practices you would like to you want to copy including if you want to age any forest and/or fruit trees.
Method 2:
From the analysis list dashboard, select '+ Create New Analysis'
As above - this will open a wizard asking you which type of analysis you want to create - select the type you wish to create, which will then open this wizard - where you can select '+ Copy an existing analysis':
Once the analysis which you wish to copy has been selected, the option to copy management practices and crops will open up, as above.
With both methods - you must select the "Create" button before the copy will be created.
