Livestock event types

  • Starting - animals already present from last year
  • Purchase/Bring On.
  • Weaning - lambs, calves, fawns, dairy replacement weaners have been weaned directly from the breeding stock on-farm
  • Sale to works - for mobs being sold to slaughter.
  • Sale/take off - for all other animals not to slaughter including those for breeding and fattening on another farm.

If not sale events for a mob are entered, it is assumed animals remain on-farm after the end of the stock reconciliation year.
