In 2013 the Industry Overseer Working Group was established. This was dis-established in 2019.
While in existence, the group provided useful guidance on the appropriate use of Overseer software for regulatory purposes.
The Group consisted of:
• Ravensdown – up to 3
• Ballance Agri-Nutrients – up to 3
• Rural professionals – up to 3 appointed by NZIPIM
• Irrigation schemes – up to 2
• Environment Canterbury – up to 4
• Other councils using or contemplating the use of OVERSEER® - up to 2 per council
• DairyNZ, Fonterra, HortNZ, FAR and Beef+Lamb – up to 1 from each industry body
• Overseer Limited and up to 2 representatives including Agresearch.
