To model a 2-pond effluent system in OverseerFM when effluent solids are not applied to land from the settling pond, during the year being modelled.
The model currently requires an application of seperated solids in the analysis when ‘Holding pond – solids are separated’ is selected as the effluent system
The advised work around for this is to export the seperated solids for the years that applications are not made.
Provided that the time in storage is set at the appropriate number of months, the model will still apply the appropriate volume of nutrients in the years when solids are applied, but then they can be avoided in the intervening years.
