An evaluation of APSIM for its dynamic estimation of soil water, soil mineral nitrogen (N) and nitrate leaching of crop rotations. MCSP is an APSIM crop module that allows the simulation of multiple crop types. It is based on the mechanisms and coefficients of the OVERSEER® crop model and is intended for the single purpose of estimating the water and N uptake of crops grown in rotations in New Zealand.
