The CLUES model is a catchment scale model that allows community, social and economic inputs when assessing the effects of land use and land use change on water quality. Estimates of N loadings for pastoral farms are achieved using a version of the OVERSEER® nutrient budget model within CLUES that has preloaded farm data for 5 farm types.
