OverseerFM does not predict N concentration in drainage water for easy and steep hill topography blocks because of the complexity of the hydrology on hill topography. On flat and rolling country, the concept of drainage is largely vertical movement below the root zone therefore N concentration on drainage is reported. On easy and steep hill topography the drainage flow is highly variable with a mixture of vertical, lateral, and saturated excess flows and typically shallower soils (< 60 cm deep) that complicate the hydrology.
